Morgan Stanley Asset & Investment Trust Management



Morgan Stanley Asset & Investment Trust Management (MSAITM) was established in 1987. Following eight years of growth, in 1995 MSAITM was the first U.S. investment manager to be granted a dual license for advisory and investment trust businesses in Japan. Today, MSAITM manages approximately ¥3.6 trillion in institutional portfolios and investment trust funds, including public and private pension assets as well as institutional investor portfolios. MSAITM is part of Morgan Stanley's global investment management business, which manages over 34.3 trillion yen worldwide.

Asset Management Business:
1. To engage in the investment advisory business and business pursuant to discretionary asset management contracts in respect of Japanese and foreign securities.
2. To engage in the business of acting as a manager of securities investment trusts.
